Dr. Dexter Hadley, MD, PhD

University of California, San Francisco
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Hadley's expertise is in translating big data into precision medicine and digital health. His work has resulted in an ongoing precision medicine clinical trial for a first-in-class, non-stimulant neuromodulator to be targeted for ADHD and other diseases across the neuropsychiatric disease spectrum.

His laboratory has been repeatedly funded by the NIH Big Data to Knowledge initiative to develop the STARGEO.org web platform to facilitate novel drug and biomarker discovery for disease with crowd sourcing. He received multiple UCSF awards to use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen for skin cancer with smartphones, and for his work in radiology to use AI to better manage  breast cancer with big data from routine electronic medical records.  In general, the end point of his work is rapid proofs of concept clinical trials in humans that translate into better patient outcomes and reduced morbidity and mortality across the spectrum of disease.
